This oil painting is based on the DISTURBED ASYLUM COVER but what makes this piece stand out from other versions on DA is that I tweeted this painting to @DAVIDMDRAIMAN on twitter and asked him what he thought of it! He stated "VERY COOL"

I've honestly never heard of the band, but when I saw the painting it reminded me of the Marvel Comics superhero Moon Knight, who is one of the more clearly disturbed heroes ever created. But I like it also because of it's macabre sensibilities that appeal to my own dark side hehe
